Summary:
Overall volume (dollars) in The Community of Big Canoe is up 22.7% (+$869.1k) vs. YTD 2010.
Well, as a community, we are hanging in there vs. the last couple of years regarding sales year-to-date.
Hanging in there is not what we want to see. What we want to see is bright sunshine, normal temperatures and a little less rain and “no” snow. Yes, weather is having an impact on sales in Big Canoe. Every weekend, we are getting cancellations/postponements in showing appointments. But, yes, spring is around the corner.
With this downtime, focus on the basic elements of selling a home:
1. Condition – Are you ready for Spring? Does your home look like new? How’s the paint? How’s the carpeting? Does the driveway need to be re-sealed? Look around…you know what needs to be done!
2. Price – There really are buyers out there. However, they are well educated and know a buy. That’s what they are looking for! You may want to double check to make sure your home is positioned properly. The market is changing month to month. Remember, pricing is relevant. If you are going to re-purchase, you will also find favorable pricing on the purchase of your new home.
Now, let’s let the sun shine!
And remember, we love referrals!
Until next time,
